We try to give our training workshops an engaging edge by providing interactive structures. Several courses presented each year are lecture style and some are hands-on through use of a computer. Each workshop is very interactive and small enough to provide individual learning.
How much does it all cost?
General advising services are provided at no cost to our clients. Training course costs are nominal. The SBDC program is a partnership. Because of this Public/Private partnership, the center must collect economic impact data from the client. The SBDC must be able to present compelling evidence that public resources are being spent wisely and are in fact generating additional tax revenue.
How often can a client meet with an advisor?
There is no limit to the number of times that an advisor can meet with a client provided that the meetings continue produce beneficial results for the client.
What is the difference between a Traditional SBDC and a Specialty SBDC?
A Traditional SBDC provides management assistance to current and prospective small business owners. SBDCs offer one-stop assistance to individuals and small businesses by providing a wide variety of information and guidance in central and easily accessible branch locations.
Specialty SBDCs provide more in-depth technical assistance in specialized areas.
